Quests and the Power of Customer Engagement!
Time and attention are getting increasingly hard to capture, so why not reward for it? Assuming you have quality content on your site, what else can you do to keep people around? That's where quests come into play. It's not just about the rewards; it's about the journey that your visitors embark on. Online quests have proven to be tremendously popular. The trick is: how do you harness that level of engagement for something that's not a game? Some websites do this by applying quests to different types of activities. For example, Chore Wars turns household chores into an adventure. Players can earn 20 experience points and 10 gold pieces just by emptying the dishwasher. So, like others have designed it based on what their business is. It has seen recently that companies such as Sirius Star Marketing and many others have tried increasing customer engagement by adding game mechanics to their website. Quests take it a step further by allowing businesses to guide visitors through a custom series of high-value actions, also rewarding users for their engagement.
Jerry Yang could not be another “Steve Jobs”
The power-structure of Yahoo! Inc. has seen another shift this time; the co-founder and ex-CEO Jerry Yang stepped-out for new possibilities and scopes.
I came to know this from Williams (Appco Group), first, who never misses business-world tidings; this was an abrupt 'exit' of Jerry Yang, a time when Scott Thompson moved in to make a difference to Yahoo that seems to be in some trouble or the other these days.

While I browsed the net this morning, a news report struck me and I clicked the link to know more about it. It was reported that, "Our Facebook personality is what we are actually in the real life". Stratfor is back to network, after the 'hacking' account!
Strategic Forecasting, Inc. is back to the line of work with their company website after recent online attack from hackers. Yes, it was December 2011 that the strategic intelligence analyst firm (Stratfor) had the blow from hackers, which delayed their site launch and forced them stay offline.
Wilson (from Enigma Marketing) and I had a debate over poor security infrastructure that most of the companies today have that makes them vulnerable to attack, where hackers gain and customers suffer the most.

Data Storage- is iPhone 4S better than iPhone 4?
It has just happened that iPhone 4S users are enjoying the benefits of mobile data: to the tune of twice as much volume as iPhone 4 owners. Other mobile companies have tried their best to make their phones to have the most data storage system, but gave up at a point. It is a good choice for businesses who possess an iPhone 4S. I have seen some businessmen who are with Sirius Star Marketing are enjoying this benefit of having an iPhone 4S. At first impression, this would suggest that the iPhone 4S is a data hog, with its unique features racking up data overages. That isn’t, however, the case. The iPhone 4S’s only new data-reliant feature is Siri, and it would be tempting to brand Apple’s AI voice assistant as the culprit.

Home servers are the way forward
If you are looking to streamline your music, videos and pictures then investing in a home server is a great way to store all the things you normally need loads of shelving space for.
Having music and videos on tap so you can watch them in any room is a great and easy way to manage and store your prize collection. Gone are the days of having to carry around a large collection of CD's. More places are realising this including luxury self catering cottages who find that guests really want more.
Computer of the future
Computers of today rely on hardware, wires and transistors to name a few, they normally need to also be in the same room as the user normally squeezed under a desk somewhere.
So what will happen to computers in the future, we have seen more powerful machines that use less energy, take a lot less space and becoming more affordable, so whether you are a designer at the Appco Group or a home gamer the power of the PC is becoming a lot more accessible.
So DNA, quantum computers are some of the names for machines that are bounded about in the tech forums, it's really head hurting stuff if you don't fully understand it. The great thing is 9 times out of 10 you don't companies like Microsoft have build nice systems that make it user friendly.
Computer power is everything
When such things has HD are invented it has a domino effect on all the hardware that needs to support it. For example the Edinburgh Party Bus has had a new laptop installed and when they cam to play a video through it using HD format, the laptop almost gave up the ghost.
So its fine and dandy to invent and improve all these types of medium, however then downside of it is you have to upgrade or replace all your hardware to cope with the new demands.
Dreaming of more Bytes
Need a more powerful PC its always a problem after a while that you just need more power in your PC. It does not matter whether you are working at home or if you work for a large company like GDS International, you are always going to find your PC slow down after a while.
